Sealing S-2144

The S-2114 seal is the ideal replacement for your old and non-functional seal on plastic windows and doors.
To replace the S-2144 seal, you will need:

• a sharp knife, preferably a paring knife,
• shears for sealing
• second glue

The old seal must be pulled out of the groove. If the seal is glued into the groove, you need to cut it out with a sharp knife. The seal may be so old that it has no flexibility and is difficult to remove from the groove. Therefore, you must cut it out to completely free the groove. Check the groove and make sure no old seal remains. After the groove is free, a new seal is inserted. The end of the seal, where it joins the other end, should be trimmed at an angle so that the two ends connect nicely. We recommend gluing the corners of the seal with super glue to prevent the seal from shifting and to ensure it performs its function.

We ship goods packaged in whole meters. In the case of a larger order over 100 m, we divide the sealing for easier handling.
For example, if you order 5 pieces, you will be sent 5 meters.

For proper maintenance, we recommend lubricating the seal at least once a year with silicone oil and a sponge to ensure it retains its properties and functionality for as long as possible.
