Self-closing plastic hinge for screen doors
Self-closing hinge for screen doors designed for screen doors made of 40×20 or 50×20 profile.
Adjustable hinge pressure force.
Adjusted by turning the spring.
Usually two self-closing hinges and one regular hinge are used for one net door, but you can change all three to self-closing hinges.
The hinge has to be tensioned after fitting, i.e. the spring has to be rotated.
The self-closing function can be switched on and off should it be necessary to leave the net door in the open position.
Simply push in or pull out the bottom screw to switch off the self-closing function. Pushed in – the door closes by itself Pulled out – the door stays open Attention!
After releasing the spring, the hinge must be tensioned again with a screwdriver and only then press the screw in.
How to tell if the hinges are left or right? Stand in front of the screen door so that the opening direction is towards you.
If the hinges are on the right side, they are right and if on the left side, you have left hinges. However, the hinges can be mounted on the door universally regardless of whether it is right or left, screw down or up .
The function of the hinges is preserved as well. The hinges can be selected according to the colour of the door frame.
Colour design:
- White
- Golden Oak
- Light brown
- Dark Brown
If the mesh on the door is damaged, we also offer replacement mesh and a locking gasket.
