Universal seal aluplast for plastic windows. Universal seal aluplast is a replacement for your old leaking seal on plastic windows and doors.
Installation and replacement is easy.
We will need:

• a sharp knife, preferably a paring knife,
• shears for sealing
• second glue

The old gasket must be pulled out of the groove.
In case the gasket is glued in the groove we need to cut it off with a sharp knife.
The gasket may be so old that it has no elasticity and is more difficult to remove from the groove.
Therefore, you need to cut it out of the groove to get it completely loose.
You will check the groove and make sure there is no old gasket left in it.
Then, after the groove is released from the old gasket, the new gasket is inserted.
Trim the end of the gasket as far as it joins the other end of the gasket to an angle so that the two ends join nicely.
We recommend to glue the corners of the gasket with a second adhesive to avoid the gasket from shifting and it will perform its function. If you are unsure of your choice of gasket we recommend the gasket swatch book to help you make your choice. We send the goods packed by the whole metre.
For larger orders over 100 meters we split the gaskets for better handling.

for an order of 5 pieces, 5 meters will be sent to you.
For proper maintenance of the gasket, we recommend to lubricate the gasket at least once a year Silicone oil with a sponge, to maintain its properties and functionality for as long as possible.
